Sketching for Illustration: Session I
A two session workshop exploring the figure as a means to covey expressive and representational image making. This workshop will emphasize drawing and painting techniques, composition considerations, color theory and personal expression. Focus Major: GAD, GD, ID, MAA, & WDIM. Experience Level: Intermediate to Advanced.

Photoshop CS3 for Beginners
Photoshop is the standard for image manipulation. Students develop basic image manipulation skills in a raster-based computer environment. Emphasis is placed on the introduction of the fundamentals of scanning, color management, photo retouching, imaging, special effects and filters and masks.

Foundations Refresher: Session I
In this Foundations Refresher, participants will engage in various forms of traditional image making to create a handmade picture book utilizing the foundations of design: concept, composition, color, aesthetic and craft. This workshop is aimed at the artist and art instructor whose creativity or energy level has waned from the daily grind of the design industry to assess and reestablish themselves as creative individuals.
