Course Description
The course is an introduction to storytelling and the components of story. The goal is to develop storytelling skills, and an understanding of story form.

Course Competencies
Upon successful completion of this course, the student should be able to:

• Examine storytelling through story structure, character and composition.

• Analyze and effectively use storytelling tools and techniques as it relate to different genres.

• Translate ideas into visual elements.

• Conceptualize elements of a story visually.
